I dont even make it to the second episode. Most unlikeable character this season so far.

At this point “Hayo Miyazaki’s last movie” just becomes a marketing blurb.
Yes, I wish people would get off their high horse about it. It’s easily one of the best non-human isekai novels and the anime adaptation was decent enough to not warrant all those “how high were they hur durr” and “peak anime oink oink” comments.
What I am surprised though is that a second season would most likely bring us past what is written in the source material.
I wouldn’t mind 8 episodes less of Haruhi.
The trust is gone and Unity will never be able to gain it back. The damage is done.
I also wonder if this is just playing out as planned by Unity. Try to push out a change that will piss people off by adding a more egregious change and then say “we hear you” and roll back to the change they wanted to push initially.
The OP of Subete ga F ni naru.
But in every discussion about the series there are fans that vehemently argue that Rudeus isn’t an overpowered MC. So, clearly, you must be wrong.
Not exactly anime related, is it?
I don’t particularly remember it having fan service, outside of what fits the story. But it’s been 13 years since I’ve seen it, so it might be just my nostalgia googles. But that just tells me it’s time for a rewatch once I’ve whittled down the anime of the season to a manageable amount.
Want a really obscure recommendation: Yamada’s First Time: B Gata H Kei which might sound really not like what you’re looking for when reading the synopsis, but is actually a really solid rom-com that doesn’t follow the cookie-cutter tropes. Well, it does but only to a degree.
Then there is Ore Monogatari!! which I consider being one of the most refreshing rom-coms since they don’t spend all season on getting to the relationship but are developing that relationship instead.
Lastly, my favorite rom-com series is Working!! which is just perfection that got even better with each season.
Sadly a drop for me at the moment. I like rom-coms but the 3d composite art style bundled with the male MC that gets a heart attack because a girl looks at him kills the show for me.
There already was a post about ep1. (https://lemmy.ml/post/1689813)
Not that there was any more activity on it, so I’ll just copy my comment from there:
As a player of the games, I am happy with the adaptation so far. Ryza’s character comes across and I’m delighted to see the original VAs reprising their roles. My hope for the remaining episodes is that they tone down the thigh shots. I hope they got the fan service out of their system now and can concentrate on the story from now on.
Personally, I’ve have a wallpaper folder with around 7k+ pictures I’ve SD create for me. Am I an artist now? Should I put that on my resume? No, I’m not more of an artist as someone who commissioned an art piece from someone else. The only difference is that I tell an AI what I want instead of some person.
I’m not opposed to AI art, but I’m opposed to people who call themself artist because they put in an AI prompt into a textfield. It’s just a fucking cringing joke if I see someone like that call themself artist or “AI artist”.
“Artist”
I was so surprised when I read online that this was the finale. I thought it was just a normal episode.
