A friend has told me you can block Elon but his tweets still appear on your timeline as if you haven’t. He still uses Twitter and the only way he manages it is by blocking every blue check. He has 28,000 blocked accounts now…

If you have the time to watch YouTube enough that you’re considering premium you have enough time to set up these systems. The time it saves you makes back the setup time very quickly for someone watching even a moderate amount of YouTube.
I agree that having a 21 year old mayor is crazy, but I think you’re misunderstanding the context here. There are no HOAs within 20 miles of this community. It’s incredibly rural, with most houses “in town” being on plots of at least half an acre. Most of the residents live outside of that area and are on significantly larger plots of land. It seems like the community just really liked her dad and decided to stay with what they know, or at least the closest thing to that.
I have family that lives about 50 miles from this town. It’s a drive through town with ~500 residents, the biggest businesses are Dollar General and Wendy’s. I would be shocked if there were any substantial donors to her campaign
Also drunk and I understand the desire but no
I have a road near me that says sponsored by Ubuntu and I was freaking out. Turns out it was this same organization.
The US won the Civilization cultural victory 70 years ago and the world has continually gotten worse as a result.
Simply move to the southeast US, summer starts at the beginning of April and ends around Halloween
The search engine is just down temporarily.
Okay fair enough, I haven’t been to many Midwestern states, especially rural areas of those states. I was more referring to places carrying only sweet tea and not unsweet
Marijuana maybe? I don’t know how strict the guns laws are there but that’s the closest I can think of.
As an iced tea enjoyer, who has been to almost 40 states that is absolutely untrue. I’ve never been to any restaurant that serves sweet tea but does not serve unsweetened as well. Some places especially in the north don’t consistently have either, but in my experience, if they have one they always have the other
Well Georgia’s purple now but has been red since the party switch, it’s not democrats making these maps. This last election was the rule, not the exception. Anecdotally the whole region north west of Atlanta is solidly purple, and almost all Republican candidates are moderate. MTG wouldn’t survive in any reasonably drawn district in this region of the state.
As someone from twenty minutes south of MTGs district I’d like to point out that nearly every district (minus the one north) touching hers is firmly blue and she only gets elected because every rich and rural town in the area has been gerrymandered to fuck into one district. Certain parts of Georgia are deep red but the only reason she gets elected is fucked up maps.
I always mentally read that as “shitter”
Oh wow I had no idea they stopped using the band name. Definitely for the best, I don’t think they’ve really been a band for quite some time.
I heard a story once that he made that song to show how easy it is to have a mega hit song even though he didn’t like it himself, kind of like the guys that formed MGMT. Unsure of the source on that and it could very well be untrue but it would make sense.
I like some of the songs on the subsequent albums but you’re absolutely right. That first album is just banger after banger and each album after got 30-50% worse until we ended up with whatever the hell panic at the disco is today.
I’m from the Bible belt and in my experience these people absolutely believe in God and heaven, but probably very little past that. These people mostly have a “vibes based” understanding of their religion but many of them believe it to their absolute core. Most don’t read the bible past the popular verses and even less actually analyze what the text is saying, but that by no means indicates a lack of belief. It’s important to remember that their actions may indicate a lack of belief in the morals they espouse, but that’s cognitive dissonance not secret non-belief.
