I’m interested. As long as it has an unlockable bootloader and I can install my own OS
Neat but I don’t think LLMs are the way to go for these sort of things
Seems targeted. Scary

I don’t mind the idea of seeing the same user around. Feels more community centered
I’ve always been a power user but never minded Windows until W11. Luckily WSL was a great gateway drug for me and I ended up switching to Linux full-time after living inside WSL for a few weeks.
I was in a similar position earlier this year. Problem was most non smart TVs were business grade and very expensive. Ended up with a Samsung Smart TV but didn’t hook it up to the Internet. Fits my needs and remote is only ever used for changing HDMI devices. It boots up in about 10 seconds.
Hard style, you can find a bunch on SoundCloud
Interesting. Before I got my license, I was really worried I would have trouble focusing on driving. As it turns out for me I love doing it and actually seek it out. I kinda hyperfocus when I do it so I’m able to keep going for hours.
If anything, I feel refreshed after a nice drive. That said, if it’s straight highway for hours it’s a different story. I’ll need to rest after a long road trip. Especially if it was understimulating.
Is it that you can keep using the free trial forever? /s
Ah. Maybe that’s the case. I meant I’m running Windows 11 on Linux using QEMU for gaming.
I’m actually running Windows 11 on QEMU and passing my GPU through to it. Runs VR games perfectly
I think the VM support is better on Windows 11. I tested gaming on both 10 and 11 on my Linux install and 11 performed better. Otherwise, agreed 11 is a downgrade
That’s my strategy. Leave the notification there until I have to get to it
I suppose that’s one thing my 2008 shitbox has going for it… Seems like every product is moving towards the advertising mindset
Anything you interact with on a daily basis. Keyboard, mouse, desk, monitor… If you’re going to be spending a couple hours a day at it why not treat yourself?
I would login to my phone to do something and it would dismiss my unread notifications from the lock screen. Never got into the habit of swiping down to check notifications as there isn’t any indicator like on Android. On Android I’ll keep a notification up until I get to it, so it’s always a reminder on my lock screen.
+1 switched from a Pixel 2 to iPhone 12 for a year and a half. Ultimately went back to Pixel because I was missing too many notifications
Isn’t that what Google and Samsung already do?
