I decide to learn C++ and suddenly everything and everyone mentions C++… Is that a sign?
So how i understood from the link it’s that in those 4k all file names in that directory are stored. That space can grow if necessary but won’t shrink automatically. So i assume that op has alot of files in that directory

Back in my dsy we only had non programmable computers. Wanted to make the computer do something? You had to specifically build in the function. And that worked JUST FINE
