That’s not about prices being too high. It’s about people being too sick to do the work…

I honestly don’t get it. Why do prices have to go up even if wages don’t? It seems like some people say that some kind of inflation is absolutely necessary no matter what.
Ah yes, no one ever changes over time and no one’s views have ever updated over the years. Never.
This was 50 years ago. I’ve changed my opinions on a lot of things and I’m 33. I really hope I don’t have all the same positions on every single thing for the next 50 years or I’ll likely be left behind.

Just a small correction. They were women. Not minor female children. Calling them girls is infantilizing.

Why would you think they do from that comment chain? If the OP of the chain wants to say she’s getting paid off, they should have proof. As it is, the word likely is doing a hell of a lot of heavy lifting there while at the same time influencing people’s ideas on how our politicians vote. That has nothing to do whatsoever with your question which only serves to tell people if you want actual proof of bribery, then you must agree with not having the law that would have helped people.

No, it’s no charges while in office for things that are related to presidential duties, but that can be stretched as it’s very vague.

My dad’s medical bills were over $100,000 in his first year of cancer alone. He had liver cancer which is generally hard to beat and by the time they found it, his liver was 1/3 cancer. It permeated throughout his liver and they couldn’t cut it out. Chemo and radiation were the only options. He had so many drugs costing thousands of dollars each. He had a team of doctors, one for each organ system, including the oncologists. The last year or two, he spent more time in the hospital than out of it. That’s no way anyone could afford that without obscene wealth.
