In an episode of Happy Days, The Fonz goes water skiing, encounters a shark, and jumps over it in the water skis. Like everyone’s been saying, learn to take care of yourself. Cook and eat well and exercise and sleep. But also just fuck around a lot. Say yes to things. Try something new every time you can, even if it’s just a dish you’ve never had. Meet people and talk to them and have fun with them. It’s harder to meet people as you get older.
Travel if you can, but you don’t need to be a jet setter to have new experiences. Find trails and museums and go listen to live music. Try creating things, you don’t have to be good at it or keep doing it, just doing it is the point.
Aging comes with a certain amount of solidity, in your energy and mind and responsibilities. It’s amazing and it’s not something to fear, but it does mean you can’t just fuck around as much. And if you’re going to be a person for the rest of your life it might as well be a person you like.

Deserving. There’s a lot to be said about making way for new animation talent but Miyazaki put out one of his greatest movies with this one. It’s beautiful and moving and I had to pee the entire time I saw it and didn’t want to get up and miss anything

My wife has become an avid Switch gamer since we picked one up during COVID and she’s been excited for this one. It also happens to come out on her birthday, which makes this a pretty easy win for me. I’ve been showing her reviews all morning to get her hyped.
I don’t preorders as a rule but this one is sitting there ready to go for Friday. I had to cycle through a bunch of games to kick it off the home screen, so she currently thinks I just couldn’t decide what to play yesterday.
Well I don’t want to get all controversial about it but the thing about India is it’s a country in South Asia with a land area of approximately 3.3 million square kilometers and a population of roughly 1.4 billion. And that might be a hot take, but also we have to keep in mind its primary exports are petroleum goods and textiles. Don’t even get me started on how its borders are the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, and the Bay of Bengal.
