I like consistency more than the actual style usually. The notification badge on the tiktok icon bothers me the most here, it should be fluffy as well
That was my biggest issue with the style of win8 and 10, chaotic. With win11 is finally mostly consistent… But I use linux and gnome now, but it’s annyoing if an app is qt, not gtk, and the chaos comes back again.

Install, login/register, share your data then search. Filter the results by file format, sort by download speed etc. Soulseek is a very old file sharing platform, work the same way since 2001. A lot of peers don’t allow downloading from them if you don’t share anything.
For Android I found SeekerAndroid, never used it.
No, hecto and deca are also not capitalized. The rule should be, uppercase if more than 10^3. Or simply the change between upper and lowercase is between 10^3 and 10^6, not at 1.
It grinds my gears much more, that all the letters are latin, except μ.
23·6 个月前Adblockers don’t work on facebook. They deliberately obfuscate html, screen readers also don’t work there for the same reason. If you still have an account check it in the inspector, they put each letter in a separate div and do other shenangians

In the core2duo era I overclocked a cpu to 2.4GHz, and It killed the wifi in the computer similarly, it took a while to figure out why it was happening, and connect the 2 seemingly unrelated thing.
Microwave ovens also work in the 2.4 GHz range, at one flat my torrents basically stopped when my neighbor used their oven.

Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem.
You can see it here live. OP’s problem is not the price but that the service is shit, and the only solution you can see in this thread is piracy.
No one should go to that website ever. But it’s true, we should have a dedicated piracy memes community, or do we already have one? But until lemmy is this small it wouldn’t help if the communities were even more fine grained.

Unfortunately I can’t listen to podcasts. If I only listen to something without visual stimulation my mind start to think about unrelated things, and I just can’t follow what they speak about, I loose track after a while.
Before podcasts there were radio talk shows, I hated them similarly, and I tuned to another station where they were playing music.
You are following topics here, not users. Your username is not really imporant, as you can’t have followers (but you can follow lemmy users in other platforms, but it’s just the side effect of fedration)
