Republicans have come to their senses. They’re not in deniable anymore, they realized they’re evil and they love it.

Neither is it capitalism that’s exiling, imprisoning, and executing billionaires when they break the law. Just sayin’.

I’d love to see how they could do that without being allowed to speculate on the currency and under rigid currency controls. Currency sovereignty means they can literally control who has the currency, speculators can’t just buy it on the free market. A speculator would have to somehow acquire mass amounts of currency by trading physical goods or something else with real value for it (so no coming in with fistfulls of dollars and demanding they sell currency), and the government would be able to turn away customers that don’t pass certain requirements.

Of course then the US declares them “currency manipulators” like it does to any country that asserts its currency sovereignty and hits them with sanctions, but it doesn’t look like they’re safe from the US as-is so I don’t really see much of a difference.

A lot of the people in the streets are people who don’t vote and you have to recon with that. Voting is merely one tactic among many, there are lots of ways to be involved in politics. The fact that someone disagrees with you about a single tactic doesn’t mean they’re irrelevant, it just means you have to find common ground in other ways.

The vast majority of US citizens did not vote for Harris. Are you going to write off a majority of the country?

Throwing your vote into a hungry pit is also worse than useless. Trump didn’t even get a majority! President 49.9 enjoys power solely because the electoral system is anti-democratic and doesn’t do runoffs, and he only won the first time because of the electoral college. He attempted a fucking coup and we didn’t put him in prison, and as a result Jan 6th is the most successful US political movement in my lifetime. This country is fucked, and it’s clear Republicans have no plans to allow any electoral input ever again.

Will there even be midterms? Who knows! It’s time to think about what you’ll do when you can’t vote anymore.

Actually, I didn’t get any options because I live in a red state and my vote doesn’t count. Stop pretending we have democracy.

I simply recognize that the current government is the lesser evil compared to whatever regime the US/Israel want to install.

The people pushing AI don’t like like hearing, seeing, and reading about how other humans experience the world. They actually do just want flashing colors and sounds poured into their face holes. They’re basically incapable of understanding art.

EDIT To clarify, as a proud debate pervert I tend to upvote people I’m arguing with just so our argument gets more visibility.

I see voting as decentralized moderation, not as an expression of agreement or like or something.

Upvote means “I want people to see this” and downvote means “I don’t want people to see this.”
