    • pihole: DNS ad-blocker abd also a DNS (and optionally DHCP) server for your home
    • Wireguard: VPN very simple to setup, for remote access to your services from outside your home. What I do: wireguard is running (as a server) on a VPS, with all the security measures in place (ssh password login turn off, firewall bocks everything but wireguard and ssh connection changed to another port, failban) then my NAS at home connects to this VPS, as well as my phone, laptop, etc.
    • Caddy: reverse proxy to address your service using your domain, it’s easy to setup, actually it’s the only reverse proxy I managed to setup successfully 😅. You can use the Nameservers from your domain provider to point to your NAS via the wireguard IP address for connection from the outside, and Pihole DNS to point to local IP address when at home.

  • I have some problem with this proposal:

    1. These drugs are around also, you know, for sick people who need them. It is the case of my mom who has multi sclerosis and the only pain killer effective on her is known as a rape drug.
    2. Chemical submission can be achieved with a wide range of things, most commonly use it probably alcohol, regular drinks such as wine and beer. Attempting chemical submission with those shouldn’t fly under the radar of justice!
    3. I think it would be much more effective to amend the law in order for all cases of chemicals submission (with or without rape) and rapes to be brought to justice
    4. A big issue that is ignored with this proposal is, victims often don’t report the aggression or don’t complete the full procedure. Police and Justice system personnel must be better trained about these cases of rape and rape with chemical submission in order for the victims to be able to report their aggression without feeling judgement or shame through out the entire process, from the police report until the conclusion of the court.

  • Things as simple as the wiper motor in every car has some Nexperia parts under shortage. They do many types of components, transistors, diodes, that are in basic electronics. It’s not so simple to replace these parts by other manufacturers because the requirements for automotive parts are difficult to meet (normal operation between -40 and +85 °C, 15 year durability, high humidity, etc) and you must demonstrate these capability on every product to the car manufacturers before you can use a new component in the product.

This topic is keeping me working minimum 10 hours per day as of lately 🤷‍♂️
