On my end, the icons disappearing happens sometimes when switching with the keyboard. Also, I happen to use full labels on the taskbar items (like on 95 to vista) and they’re all sorts of broken, especially when changing virtual desktops.

Also, despite having quite beefy hardware (Ryzen 9 + 4090), I can’t use an image as wallpaper (only a solid colour) otherwise changing virtual desktops has like a inexplicable 1 second lag after pressing the shortcut keys.

This is the kinda shit people would give up on Linux for.

Thanks. I meant games. I currently have a 3840x2160 so I’m used to some quirks but was wondering in general if many games have you trouble or looked broken. The 60hz thing sucks but oh well, there simply isn’t anything out there with that resolution and higher freqs.

Same. I’m particularly hoping that Emily goes somewhere else where she can present more technical content. Her videos are clearly more technical than the rest of LTT and she has a particularly calm and pleasant demeanor while explaining things, like a really good teacher.
