The first time I visited there, I wanted to live there. Like this book I read in school when I was in third grade, where the kids hide out in the museum overnight.

I believe that’s his stated reason (as noted in the text you quoted) for recusing himself and his entire office, no? Do you think that’s an inappropriate response to a clear conflict of interest?
Or were you referring to the previous situation, where a sitting judge and prosecutor were related? That seems like a valid point, though perhaps it’s easier to remain impartial in that case.
This article was amended on 27 July 2024. A part of Trump’s speech that was unintelligible were deleted.
I’m surprised that would leave anything left to talk about.
You’re right, but not in the way you think you are.
I assume because it has the “oo” sound. “Loser” looks like it rhymes with “hoser”.
“gigibyte” is not a thing, but “gibibyte” is.
I can’t even listen to that song anymore. That movie ruined it for me.
Barrier frustration is not the same as resource guarding. Think of it more like a reaction to anxiety from not being able to get to or interact with something of interest. Over time that anxiety gets displaced from the barrier to the object itself, and can also build up into an extreme short-circuited reaction.
But when the barrier is removed often the anxiety goes away and everything is fine.

I understand not wanting to relearn, and it’s not really that big a deal, but it’s also pretty easy to retrain yourself. Just start tying them opposite of what you currently do (flip whichever one goes on top) and the rest is the same. It took me some time at first, but now it’s second nature to me.
From what I can tell from the article, it’s not clear what the guy was selling. Maybe it was the claimed drugs, maybe it was water, but he had no idea and he was not only unaware, but also was making claims (“highest quality” and "made in the US’) that were patently false.
So he wasn’t so much “providing a path to medicines” as he was fraudulently making the claim he was doing so while putting all his customers at risk of harm.
