I keep quoting this bit from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy in the hopes that it will happen to Trump. It hasn’t happened yet, but if we’re lucky tonight…

his own major intestine, in a desperate attempt to save humanity, leapt straight up through his neck and throttled his brain.

I used to be principled like you, but this man has the potential to cause death and destruction on a scale so unfathomably larger than one person. Would I prefer he face justice? Absolutely. But at some point “not wishing death on someone” flies in the face of the greater good of humanity

Yes, I am wishing that Donald Trump’s intestine ends up throttling his brain like in a comedic science fiction novel.

On a same level of things that are possible, I am also wishing I held the world speed record for the 100 meter hurdles.

Oh so we can wish death on people and as along as we’re not capable of making it happen it’s okay?

Sorry… you’re asking if it’s okay to wish someone die in a way that is literally impossible? Sure, why not. Go for it.

Seeing as I can’t actually make it happen and it’s not going to happen because I wished for it, that means its okay with you for me to wish for your death?

Let’s maybe focus instead of not wishing death on people? How about I wish Trump was in jail for his crimes and wasn’t able to compete in the race.

You are welcome to wish that my large intestine becomes sentient, makes its way through my body up to my brain and then starves it of oxygen for the betterment of humanity.

Why do you think I would care about that even a little?

Careful dude. The small intestine is weak and dumb. But that large one? It’s sneaky. Just been biding it’s time until it strikes. You open that window and you might not be able to close it.

Why do you care more about Donald Trump than all the people who’ve died as a direct result of both his policies and his rhetoric?

Stop concern trolling. The ridiculous nature of the “threat” makes it obvious they’re being completely unserious.

Other than a bit of a dodge on the tariff question (which she turned into a counter-punch), Harris is nailing this thing with a dakka dakka nail gun.

So idk about everyone else, but did anyone else catch that they both had hot mics?

This wasn’t a debate for her, or a law school case scenario, or an undergrad philosophy argument. This was a trap she set.

He managed to call him weak, a poor sport, a sore loser, an idiot, in a publicly appropriate manner, and each time she did, he got more and more unhinged.

Don’t stop your opponent from making the wrong move.

They let him respond, but then make Harris talk about something else… Journalists are already reporting that they have given him 30% more time, up to nine minutes more so far

Yea… I stand by my statement from earlier in the debate but in the last ten minutes or so they seriously dropped the fucking ball - especially trying to cut off Harris when she tried to respond to bullshit Trump said when he stole time himself.

Watching the pre-show and evidently there’s a new TV show with Don Johnson coming. The commercial has me wondering how many times people can sample Tom Tom Club’s “Genius of Love”.
