        Not necessarily, anyone who knows the state can tell you this.

        NC ousted an incumbent republican while electing Trump in 2016. Republicans have not won the governorship, except once in 2012, since 1988.

        The states national and state election results have always been decoupled.

        Yeah, if Harris wins NC then it becomes much harder for Trump to get to 270, even if he ratfucks the vote in GA
