I consider her policies moralist, I don’t think she has a theoretical foundation.
Many of her policies would be at home in a leftwing government, like the jobs guarantee and debt cancellation and the rights to food/housing/healthcare, but that doesn’t make them Leftist. These are just moral positions. I think they’re good, sure, but I don’t think she has a real plan to make them happen.
None of those policies sound particularly far away from what Biden/Harris have done / want to do. Student/medical debt cancellation being the obvious one. Job growth under Biden being another. Harris has also recently spoken in favor of unions/collective bargaining as of late. Harris also co-sponsored Bernie’s Medicare for all.
Is Stein to the Left of Harris? Sure. Is she far to the Left of Harris? No.
The fact is, the ideological gap between Harris and Stein is way smaller than the one between Harris and Trump.
But you want to disingenuously paint Harris and Trump as virtually identical because of a single foreign policy issue that you lot can pretend to clutch your pearls over and virtue signal about until your lungs give out.
The Lemmy Lefty archetype in full form.
Her ideology is just a mishmash of moral positions, I understand that just fine. I just don’t respect it.
The other candidates want to do genocide and start a world war, though, which makes them comparable to Hitler.
Which of her policies do you consider to be Leftist?

Workers’ party or bust.
Amen, sister! I’m with you!

They have no plans to cancel all debt. I don’t consider ticky-tacky piecemeal debt “”“forgiveness”“” to be anything like full debt abolition.
Not growth, literally a jobs guarantee. That means full employment, which is nothing like Biden/Harris focusing on private economic growth.
They broke the railroad strike, and Biden is to the left of Harris on unions anyway.
She’s abandoned it.
She’s doing genocide and promises to do more, she’s promising to put Republicans in her administration, she’s a cop.
Right of center at best.
Now imagine being so ignorant as to not see how a similar comparison on policy between Harris and Trump would put Harris far to the Left of Trump.
I already acknowledged she’s slightly to the left of Trump. That doesn’t change the fact that “closer” is doing a lot of work.
A pile of shit is closer to food than a rock. Would you eat it?
Again, to say Stein is far to the Left of Harris, but Harris is only slightly to the Left of Trump is ignorant at best, disingenuous at worst.
