Do those people walk around on a bed of straw everywhere, like royalty with rose petals?
Which one of them walks in front and throws the straw down?Or are they just taking a supply of straw with them from the ships hold and no one had a way to bale it?
Why couldn’t they bale the straw, was that technology lost to the sands of time?

It’s one of my favorite episodes because of that, are you guys actually offended by it? I always felt it was just a humorous episode with a very endearing stereotype.

I just through it in the pile with Code of Honor as an episode that should have been TOS. Honestly, S1 of TNG can be pretty rough.

These first season episodes are basically TOS “The Next Phase”. I think they were hold overs from the 60s TOS series or were written for the failed reboot of the series after TMP.
