Sometimes I tell myself a joke in my head that’s so funny I laugh out loud. Seemingly at random from anyone else’s perspective.

Yes - a lot. Mostly jokes i tell myself.

My jokes tend to be terrible, so not really, but what will really get me laughing is the reaction of other people to how terrible they are.

Probably shouldn’t laugh at that to be fair, what with causing suffering and all that, but as suffering goes it could be far worse.

in real life i usually have a pretty deadpan delivery, so i dont laugh at those for the most part. but when texting/posting online, i usually laugh at the funny ones. maybe it has to do with the time in between when i think of the joke and when i tell the joke. in real life, there’s not much time in between for laughter, but typed jokes are a bit more premeditated

I constantly come back to jokes or funny things I’ve written on Lemmy just to laugh at my stupid joke again.
