Only hard part about installing a HVAC system is filling the freon lines from the condenser to evaporator. Most packaged units come prefilled, and if one single unit then no worries. Even if you got everything in place and just had a HVAC contractor to solder and fill lines if you needed a split unit. You could save a ton of money. Otherwise any DIYer could install one
