Summary

Donald Trump refused to rule out seeking a third term as president, telling NBC News there are “methods” to do so and emphasizing, “I’m not joking.”

Though the 22nd Amendment bars presidents from serving more than two terms, Trump suggested possible workarounds, including a VP succession plan.

He cited strong poll support and added, “a lot of people want me to do it.”

Allies like Rep. Andy Ogles and Steve Bannon back the idea. Amending term limits would require a complex constitutional process.

The American people have “methods” to remove him should he ever attempt this. And they won’t be “joking” either.

No they don’t. There’s already been multiple failed attempts on his life. People have tired your methods. He has helicopter to get away from the hoards.

While I agree that its unlikely for him to go out that way, failed attempts dont make the chance zero. The people trying that only have to get lucky once, he has to avoid being unlucky every time.

It’s always a first time assassin, incompetent enough to think it’s possible vs a team of professionals trained in the prevention of such events, who are part of a long lived organisation focused on that task alone.

The secret service are dedicated en mass to stopping such events and have been successful the majority of times.

No the chance is not zero, but it’s near enough. You’re welcome to put that to the test. But you’d be better off doing a historical analysis of modern era coups.

Start with something like this video:

P.S Oh right, it’s easier to fantasize about someone else doing an assassination for you. Putting JD Vance in charge. Nice clean and simple fantasy.

The secret service didn’t know (or didn’t care) there was a shooter until after the guy clipped the ear. They failed at the prevention part of their job.

edit: all I’m saying is if they failed once, they could fail again. That’s it. I myself have no intentions of ever setting foot in the states.

He would have to go out to his beloved rallies, he will expose himself because he thinks he’s invincible. He will make a mistake and a good marksman will not miss.

Nice fantasy. But that’s all it is. He’ll have bullet proof glass, weapons aren’t allowed at his rallies. You don’t think people tried this with Hitler, Stalin, and Putin? It’s said there were over 600 attempts on Castro’s life. He died of old age.

Hell, people tried it with Nixon, Regan, and Obama, people try these things all the time.

No glass in Pennsylvania. No weapons allowed either. And yet, he was inches away.

Inches count. How’d the shooter fair? He still kicking? But also, candidate Trump was just a candidate then. More events back then meant less planning, with worse personnel.

He’s not having that rapid stream of events to attend these days. They get more planning if there are fewer big public events, and it’s the Secret Service’s presidential agents protecting him now.

…what’s the end game anyways? Putting Peter Thiel’s avatar in charge?

Lol the American people drive around decrepit cities and believe they live in the best country in the world, while people in Michigan have water that looks like nesquick. Dumbass
