The Iran strike is a terrible reason to try and impeach Trump. That’s why so many Democrats tabled it. While impeachment is a political process, you need something to attach to it that’s plausibly illegal, this was a legal action.
If they focused on sending marines to LA or the rampant detaining of citizens by ICE who technically has no authority to do so, they might actually get somewhere.

There’s nothing legal about war without congressional authorization. Just because it happened before doesn’t make it legal.
