- Specifically, under Cuomo’s proposal, prospective tenants wouldn’t be allowed to rent a rent-stabilized unit unless they could prove that the rent would eat up at least 30 percent of their household income. - Am I remembering it wrong, or do you typically get rejected for an apartment if it would eat up more than a third of your income? - If so, there can be no doubt that Cuomo KNOWS this and wants to make almost all rent-stabilized units empty as a convenient excuse for eliminating them altogether because “nobody’s using it anyway”. - Anyways, have a comic  
- I believe that it was under him that the city privatized homeless shelters in the city. - Oddly enough, most of those lucrative private contracts went to private shelters owned by him and his wife.
