Kinda fucking stupid how the war on drugs disproportionately affects poor people because poor people don’t always have the means to do their drugs in private or “acceptable” settings.
It would be a good dose of karma if the kids from rich families who can do drugs without impunity had to suddenly face criminal charges like a poor person.
Maybe calling the cops isn’t even necessary (they probably won’t even show up, because cops). We could just record them doing drugs and submit that as evidence.
You don’t? Because all the people I knew queuing up to get “medical” marijuana cards had a lot more disposable income than the median.
Not sure if I would say “more disposable income than the median” qualifies as rich. I was more thinking the top <5% or something. Otherwise I’m rich I guess.
Also the “medical” marijuana really never took off here. Almost everyone I know (and quite a few are rich by your standard) just stuck with the black market, even after legalization.
