I just killed the fuck out of two of my plants and now I see this. Well, at least my coffee is good.
Ya’ll should get a cactus.
Pretty hard to kill even that.Seriously, I had a roommate that left one here, and I found it six months later, outside of its pot, lying on its side. Yes, it is still alive. No, it did not have water any of those six months. Now it’s got this funky bend in it, though.
Most time, I’m just trying to prevent my cats from destroying it.
My best friend managed to kill her cactus by overwatering it lol
Well…
I was under the impression that most here forget the watering.Being loved to death is another way to go.
These are pretty sturdy, for sure.
One plant I killed was a mamey sapote, and another a blood orange. Both were plants that I grew from fruit that I ate. It was a bummer since I’d had both for over a year.
Oh, shit. This is a good reminder.
Espresso machine: dies
Get yourself a nerve plant (put it in indirect Sun) so it can be a big drama queen about when you need to water your plants it’s the only way to have them with ADHD
A nerve plant? Well I’m googling now because my nerd ass immediately went “A… parasite? That you plant in your nerves?”
It’s a simbiote if it’s helping ypu keep your air scrubbers online.
Good, because I want you to flower motherfucker… and your flower trigger is drought.
It screams in flower power
my plants when I give them the coffee grounds as a weekly/monthly fertiliser, perfect for vegetative growth with a pH of 6.5 and plenty of nutrients.
Ooh, I like you. 🤩🤘🏼 I came here to post that precisely this (pulped w/ banana peel & eggshells) is fucking awesome for augmenting most plants’ media. 🥰🌈
Pardon this off the rails train of thought.
You’re referring to spent coffee grounds, correct?
I find it quite interesting that coffee grounds is meant to be interpreted as alerady brewed coffee, and ground coffee is the unbrewed, ground(ed?) beans.
Not specific to you. This is just how it’s talked about. Not a linguist nor a coffee afficianado but this is cool to me.
Yeah, already brewed coffee. Typically I’ll use ground coffee for the pre-brewed beans and coffee grounds for the remnants after brewing.
thanks for reminding meto water my plant!
you know, i’m somewhat of an espresso machine myself
