My determination is if we are aloud to vote for a president in 2028, we at least have the appearance of a democracy. That would be the nail in the coffin.

Though they becoming increasingly predetermined with the flood gates being opened for blatant partisan gerrymandering and soon, likely, the neutering of the Voting Rights Act, so… not exactly long for this world.
