I think part of it is that she’s like every Confederate ever, on nearly every issue. It’s a trope for a reason - unless it affects them or someone very close to them, they don’t give a fuck. So one of their kids gets pregnant while a teen, or one of their kids comes out, etc…when it comes to the health insurance, it’s because her kids are hitting the 26 years mark.
If she can see the other stuff, that’s just icing on the cake, and I’ll take it. I mean the tariffs are probably Taco manipulating the market. It sickens me that someone like him can just brazenly enrich himself with the market manipulation, the grifting, and things like crypto. I guess Marj got sick of it, too, although I have to admit I’m surprised about it. My cynical self wonders if it’s because of some similar selfish reason the Confederates are known for.
