That “Elitist Left” line really is some world-class propaganda. Kudos, right-guy, your teams propaganda is the best. It doesn’t seem to be possible to construct a sound-byte-level counter to it. It takes at least a paragraph to deconstruct the argument. But a paragraph deconstructing an argument is exactly what an elitist would do. It plays right into the narrative. Even the fact that I think a sound-byte is needed only helps the narrative. It’s really spectacularly good propaganda.

Why would I not want the people running the government to be better than me at running a government?
Problem is they, like many others, are tricked into fighting about culture issues. The robber barons have returned while we fight amongst ourselves.
