      They obviously mean with a reasonable, varied diet typical of American consumers. If you think you can eat a typical diet on $10/day in Deadhorse, then you clearly have never been there. A single loaf of bread will set you back more than $10. It seems food is cheaper where you live, which is why they added the caveat of “some places”

      By the way, is there a reason you decided to personally attack the person and their parents? It doesn’t reflect well on you, or your personality, nor is it constructive discussion

      If you believe that, then you genuinely need to get more life experience.

      Are you illiterate or willfully being obtuse? I literally just described my actual experience with being on foodstamps.

      Yeah, this is the issue. Clearly your parents didn’t raise you to take care of yourself.

      I have a budget of just under $300 for a 30 day period. $10/day for 30 days is $300, genius.
