we’ve all agreed for a long time that “capitalism is bad”. did anything change?
the only way to change things is to look very closely and with awareness at what and who keeps these power dynamics up. if you think patriarchy has nothing to do with this, I highly recommend you educate yourself about it. I wonder why even on lemmy so many don’t get this connection.

Im not implying anything. There is no such thing as patriarchal capitalism there is just capitalism.
You are complicating the issue by adding sexism to the mix.
Capital doesnt care if its male or female. Capitalists only care about their bottom line.
I get that you see mostly men in power but the truth is it would be the same if women owned the means of production.
So there is no such thing as ethical capitalism there is just capitalism and its destroying our world and society.

Its almost always white women who’s bring up patriarchy because they get to excuse themselves from the system that they support and benefit from
