I don’t have a problem saying we need to get rid of white supremacy in the first place. which is everyones job, mine too. patriarchy is a system of oppression as well though that needs to die.
I hoped that if nothing else, all the rape cases would show more clearly how much more rape and sexual oppression is going on than what people imagined, or rather, pretended
we can be privilege-aware (we should btw) and still want equality for all.
Then don’t call it a patriarchy. If you want true equality then recognize the system favors whiteness over sex
