      Yeah that’s the surface topography one I think. You’d need specifically ground penetrating radar if you’re looking for bodies I think. Assuming of course all they did was bury them and they didn’t like mulch up whoever they wanted to disappear first.

      That’s what I thought so too but when I did a quick search eelier I did see some underground results. I will have to do more digging.

        These aren’t just a little device you pin on your shorts though. You might tow it in a trailer behind a 4 wheel motorbike over a grid pattern.

            I don’t know anything about this other than what I’ve seen on Time Team (and supposition), but I think that might be ok if you’re trying to measure the size and density of a mineral deposit, but I don’t think you’ll be able to detect a grave.

            I think I’m conflating GPR with… something else to do with magnets, but I still don’t think you’re going to detect a grave from a plane.
