Yes, I use this monitor in hdr mode in both GNOME and KDE. I’ve been complaining about hdr on linux endlessly but it’s gotten good support in the last 6 months or so on both. The new GNOME video player and the mpv flatpak both display hdr videos fine out of the box with no configuration. With a couple of custom launch options and GE-Proton, I’ve been playing games in HDR too.
And are you actually using the HDR features? Most can be run fine in SDR mode.
