      Even in that fiction, they make it pretty clear he is a criminal. He understands he is stepping outside the law and subject to the same justice as those he attacks.

      Even if certain police seem to miss the entire point

      Well that sure is weird, if I didn’t know any better, I would have thought he was some kind of unofficial mascot of corrupt power tripping cop types.

      Maybe its some kind of inside joke for their reading club?

                From the TV show “the boys” a show that isn’t exactly nuanced in the fact that homelander is a very, very bad character. So much so that the shows entire run is about killing the guy. It’s about superhumans and how absolute power, yada yada. But they’ve been very vocal about homelander being a stand in for trump.

          Ah, I see I’ve been so sardonic that its now time to clarify that I am (and have been) being cheeky.

          I know.

          … they’re all fucking morons, strongly definable by a lack of self-awareness so strong that it becomes anti-self-awareness, grandiose delusion.

          And by ‘their reading club’… I mean the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, etc.
