That wasn’t even stupidity. He just realized partway through the sentence that he didn’t want there to be an audio clip of him saying “shame on me.” So he tried to change it and made it so much worse.
I mean it was ronald reagon up to this point but trump well being trumped is going to have a whole new meaning after this.

He isn’t bad person. He is just stupid. Trump isn’t bad person because he is stupid. He is just a bad person.
