Trump has said that the United States shouldn’t have midterm elections this year because midterm voters often vote against the president’s party. Democratic congressional leaders have said they expect Trump to disrupt and dispute the midterms.

“It’s some deep psychological thing, but when you win the presidency, you don’t win the midterms,” Trump told Reuters in a recent interview. He then boasted that his presidency had accomplished so much that “when you think about it, we shouldn’t even have an election.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) told the Associated Press that Democrats are concerned that Trump will try to prevent open and fair midterm elections.

He even said he would do this during the campaign. They absolutely voted for this and they deserve what they get.

BS. Anyone that voted for Trump in 2024 voted to have our elections dismantled. He was open about his intentions.

“Get out and vote! Just this time. You won’t have to do it anymore! Four more years, you know what? It’ll be fixed, it’ll be fine, you won’t have to vote anymore.” - Donald Trump, July 26th, 2024

Everyone single fuckhead looser that voted red voted for this. For fucks sake Trump even said at a rally for “Christian” votes if they would vote for him this time it would be the last time they had to vote.

Well, its in the history books now: more than half of them thought otherwise. I suppose you’re right in that apparently the other group dont love their country enough to get off their privileged asses to exercise their right to vote and therefore can’t be considered ‘american’ enuff for you. Oh well.

Yes, but voting for the other candidate wouldn’t have instantly solved all problems now and forever, so you might as well just let the blatant fascist win.

No one who let this happen can say they didn’t have the choice to at least know about it and dismiss it
