    How do you prove citizenship? A lot of (most?) people don’t even have passports, which is the only federal ID that most people can get that establishes citizenship.

      the “real id” marked state id and dl also do, but have also been ignored by the police state.

        Real ID isn’t exclusive to US citizens. Non-citizen permanent residents and people here on temporary legal status such as work or student Visas, DACA, etc get Real ID cards as well.

          green card holder with real ID here.

          legally, though, I am required to carry my green card at all times and I moved to the US a decade ago.

        They’ve already come out and said the Real ID isn’t proof of citizenship, just your identity.
