I earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in computer science consecutively and was very proud of it. I worked in the field until the age of 33, when I married my husband, whom I met the year prior during the pandemic, and decided to stop working to focus on being a trophy wife full-time. I’m currently considering getting a PhD, since I have a lot of time on my hands, to complete the academic “trifecta”.

Masters in Engineering (thesis-based masters, which is longer than the report-based and coursework only options) I’m still in the technical route doing engineering 15 years later.
Sometimes i wish i had the phd so i could be a professor as i would enjoy teaching, but i guess i could always try teaching at a community college or something but that doesn’t pay shit.
I didn’t continue on to phd because
Yeah, I never considered getting a PhD before, as I had no interest in going into academia and just wanted to make money. But now, since circumstances have changed, I think it would be nice.
