    4090 = 0.76% + 5090 = 0.37% is approx. 1.7% of the entire Steam player base. Is that true? That is a lot for such expensive hardware. How is streaming from Nvidia GeForce Now calculated? My theory is, that a good chunk of them are streaming and don’t actually own the cards. I wish GeForce Now would be listed too as a platform, at least for those who log into their Steam account in the streaming service.

      But aren’t there like chinese distros as well? I thought China is also trying to become independent from US tech

        The Chinese government wants that yeah, they do have their own distro, but the people just keep using Windows anyways

          When picking out Distros first I looked into Deepin a while ago because I found it visually appealing. I obviously didn’t pick it but there’s also good chinese Distros

          I was told by a Chinese coworker a few years back that piracy is the biggest factor. There was little enforcement, and everybody runs a cracked version of Windows because it was insanely easy to do.
