It’s just unfathomable to me that she thought it was a good idea to give it to him.

She won it for her work in promoting democracy, then she uses it to bribe someone to help her subvert democracy.

I cant help but feel like the Nobel committee really chose the wrong person.

She’s a member of the corrupt kleptocracy that Chavez kicked out. The fact that Maduro was a shit leader doesn’t mean that the faction that had been driven out of power was any better.

I cant help but feel like the Nobel committee really chose the wrong person.

They really should shut that shitshow down. It’s doing more harm than good.

She’s trying to buy her country back with a hunk of metal. It’s understandable.

She won it by grifting. Just because someone is against an oppressive regime doesnt make them good nor democratic. The same with Navalny or for a less recent example Stauffenberg.

If a “democracy” laureate can turn the Nobel medal into a gift to Donald Trump to secure leverage, it exposes the prize as elite propaganda, not a meaningful moral measure. And it reveals Machado’s “pro-democracy” image as branding for regime-change patronage, where legitimacy comes from foreign powerbrokers rather than Venezuelan popular sovereignty.

She was never pro democracy, look into her past and support for American coups. She’s a right wing fascist, like the lot of them.

Should he not have attacked Al Qaida? Or is it just the drones you object to?

And how many drone strikes did Trump order, and what was the noncombatant death toll of those?
