The first veto of the president’s second term killed legislation that would have brought clean water to some of the most conservative parts of the state. Residents wonder why.

Probably because he wasn’t bribed to grant the project. Oh well, the tRump voters can die of thirst in that conservative area of Colorado. It’s what they wanted by voting for it, and nothing of value will be lost.

    “I can’t believe he would do that to us,” said Shirley Adams, the Republican mayor of the tiny farming town of Manzanola, whose groundwater is tainted by naturally occurring uranium. She said she voted for Mr. Trump and still supported him, but felt stung by the veto.

      I guess even having uranium in your water is not enough to peel them off.

      People wonder how something like Jonestown could happen only need to look at the conservatives and study them for a bit. It’s a cult on a grand scale. It probably has more members than any other cult.
