Because the planet and most of its inhabitants did nothing to deserve this? Because most of the 8 billion humans have done nothing to deserve this? Because humans are capable of changing for the better? Because I don’t want to live on a capitalist planet? Also…we were talking about society, not the world at large, because this all started over the results of a survey of people, right?

I’ve stopped believing that humans can change for the better.
And unless I’m gonna implant mind control devices in all eight billion people I’m not going to stop them being shitty.
