minus-squareunexposedhazard@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up48arrow-down3·edit-21 month agoYeah but CP2077 is a stupid game to emulate as a reference. If that mess of a game can run at 30fps, then like 80% of the steam catalogue can run at 60+
minus-squareAedis@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up15·edit-21 month agoWouldn’t that make it a great benchmark? It sits right at that sweet spot where if it’s barely playable then 80% of the other games are playable. Usually the rule in software is that if it works for 80% of the cases then it’s a good product. (This is also why software is shit 20% of the time)

minus-squarefaythofdragons@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoIt’s Crysis at max for the newer generations
minus-squaredankm@lemmy.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoIs that still true? IIRC it got a lot better post-release. It runs fine for me on what is now modest hardware.
minus-squareBosht@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoIt absolutely is not true. The game runs amazingly, and has for years at this point. One of my all time favorites.
