US billionaire Les Wexner, who is alleged to have played a key role in helping Jeffrey Epstein build his wealth, has described himself as “naive, foolish and gullible” for trusting the late sex offender.

In a statement to US lawmakers at the start of a closed-door deposition on Wednesday, the former CEO of Victoria’s Secret lingerie brand accused Epstein of stealing “vast sums” of money from his family when working as his financial adviser.

Wexner, who was testifying before a House committee as part of its probe into the Epstein case, has denied any wrongdoing.

He was described as a potential co-conspirator of Epstein’s in a 2019 FBI document, but no charges were ever brought against him.

    the late sex offender.

I’m so fucking fed with the whitewashing godammit. Can you please call him a pedo or kidfucker or childabuser. “Sex” is something two or more people consent to and have fun. “Sex offender” sounds like I did something wrong while having sex.

Yes, those very young girls were clearly the instigators here trying to trap an innnocent older man.

Naive and billionaire do not belong in the same sentence.

I actually believe him. But perhaps the real crime is that he was so filthy rich that Epstein could steal millions and he didn’t even notice.

Bullshit. If someone steals “vast sums” of money from a billionaire, that person would wind up dead or in jail immediately upon notice. Also, dude made lingerie for teen girls.

Yep. Stolen, definitely. Wexner would never pay for the opportunity to rape trafficked minors. He got stolen from and then helped cover it up for totally legitimate reasons. It was naivety alone that made him do the things he did.

Honestly, I’d sooner believe demonic possession than this horseshit

This is what a person blackmailed by Epstein would say. Gosh how could Epstein get leverage to blackmail someone like this?

Well, abusers also groom witnesses (like: “see? you were around me and i didn’t abuse you or your kids. those accusers must be lying, right? you’re such a good judge of character!”) but I really really doubt that’s the case with this specific dude.
