The American Dream was an illusion. It was all propaganda for convince people to feed themselves to the capitalist machine for a chance at living the dream life, but even people who aren’t trapped under years of medical debt or homeless or visible minorities don’t have it easy, they’ve just been convinced that’s as good as it gets.
