A federal judge has accused the Trump administration of terrorizing immigrants and recklessly violating the law in its efforts to deport millions of people living in the country illegally.

Citing the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minnesota, the judge said that the White House had also “extended its violence on its own citizens.”

“The threats posed by the executive branch cannot be viewed in isolation,” U.S. District Judge Sunshine Sykes in Riverside, California said in a scathing decision issued late Wednesday.

Even if they may seem feckless, it’s still better to have as many judges officially rule against them because it literally legitimizes what we’ve been saying.

Here’s the thing. Fascism can’t last. It never lasts. Not long term.

So when sanity eventually returns, these judgements will then be revisited.

Average duration of a fascist government is 10 years. Eventually they burn themselves out because the ideology is unsustainable, and there are cases of fascist governments being taken down by mass noncompliance, but be ready for the long haul.
