RFK heroically protects kids from artificial dies by making sure they die from natural causes.

Some clouds don’t have silver linings after all. What an asshole. It’s always such a challenge to identify the worst cabinet member, but Jr is a top contender

    LOL, these fucking morons.

People like Pedonald are all about the grift. If you supported him after his first term, this is on you. Also, amorphous terms like “maha” are baby-talk. These people need to grow the hell up.

They act like avoiding seed oils and certain dyes (in candy, no less, LOL) and proven vaccines, while gobbling burned animal flesh and guzzling raw milk is the path to health?

No wonder they are talking like babies. They should have named their “movement” the googoo/gaga movement. I’m so done with stupid baby talk words like maga and maha. JFC.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the phrase “made with no artificial colors” being printed on something has never influenced my purchasing decision.

But maybe I’m an outlier in that regard.

But this seems like a bit of a nothing-burger to me. From what I can tell, it’s not that Titanium Dioxide was banned and now he’s allowing it. It’s that it’s always been allowed, but now he’s letting products that contain it to put “no artificial coloring” on the package.

Naturally derived dyes obviously aren’t definitionally healthier than artificial ones, and some natural ones can in fact be bad for you. But the label doesn’t say “no bad for you dyes,” it says “no artificial dyes.” It’s something of a useless lable in the first place, no?

Conservatives loved to bring that up. Loved it. Any conversation, hey at least: comment about the dye thing.

So things that people actually already have agency over (in other words, not eating shit with dyes you don’t like is already a thing every single person is able to do) is the real win they want to point to? I’ve never really thought things that have dyes in them scream “health food” regardless of which dye they happen to use, but I guess that’s just me, LOL.

I had a few reactionary centrists (read: crypto-conservatives that don’t want to out themselves at least in mixed company, but still want to talk down Democrats and talk up Republicans anyway. They really do think people cannot see through this fucking ruse. ) I know point to that as the supposed upside of this shitshow of an administration - the people that are actually openly right wing in my life are generally too stupid to care about what they cram down their gullet in the slightest.

If the wingers I know take anything at all from RFK jr, it’s likely to be a permission structure to eat even more shitty foods like meat and milk, possibly raw, than they already do inhale as-is, along with a permission structure to never get a vaccine again for them or their kids…
