I was always a “Sonic fan” in that I thought they looked cool, I never really cared to learn about the lore or even really get good at the games. Shadow was my favorite cause duh, look at him.
These movies honestly made me want to go and get into the story and lore, and the third movie just felt like they pulled out all the stops when they were making it. Every scene was fun, I don’t think there was a single moment where I thought it got dumb and annoying. The fucking SPOILER ::: spoiler spoiler
Spoiler MOON PUNCH AND FINAL BATTLE, even the Robotnik/Eggman fight was kinda cool and fun to watch.
:::
I went and promptly got Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, any Chao Garden playable content I could find (shoutout to Chao Resort Island on PC, a fun and free Chao Garden in the style of the GBA SA games) and got really into making my perfect Chao(s) with a couple mods that let you get some absolutely wild mutations.
:O really?
I clearly need to D… buy them immediately
Definitely. I’m not even a Sonic fanatic and that movie was a fun ride.
