I miss computing in the early 2000s. You could do so much and your OS worked with you instead of aggressively trying to gobble up all your personal information to feed AI and hoard it all to turn it against you to target you with ads or put you in a box when you shop somewhere.
I’ve had my files force uploaded to OneDrive even before the slop. They don’t understand consent. Don’t use their software if you can avoid it.
You have to get Microsoft 365 Copilot Mobile Plus Pro Ultra Xbox Edition for Workgroups.
You can save a few bucks a month though if you have Microsoft business premium copilot windows app Xbox Live pro plus plus though. Maybe look at that SKU instead. It also includes Microsoft 365 office productivity pro plus with copilot

Linux is so light and fast. Im not missing much on windows.
Things people miss:
- IT not yelling at you for going rogue and UNINSTALLING EVERYTHING
- Being able to access company resources
- Having a job
If their Windows machine is company issued, that is.
If you’re building new microslop installations in 2026 you deserve everything you get.
