The person who posted would be the moderator for that post.
The post would have tags (ex : ask lemmy, meditation, gardening …), which would simplify crossposting. The post would be searched for like that.
There would be no communities.

Then you’d have actual Nazis flooding the internet with posts, and nobody would be able to remove them.
So block the nazis. They wouldn’t see your posts and you wouldn’t see theirs.
Instance admins don’t want to be hosting that (federated copies).
So in other words it would make censorship more difficult.

Because ignoring Nazis as they spread their hate has always worked out great historically, hasn’t it?
Yes, nazis are bad.
But then we’re optimizing our system for censorship.
