I really like Neocities

I’m generally a fan of all the human-made independent blogs and sites, from the elaborate neocities sites (which really are an artform) to the basic black-text-on-white-bg bearblogs.

Content is important, too. Too many meta posts (e.g. “My blog workflow”) can be a pain, but tinkerers gotta ticker!

One of my favorites is dog-house.neocities.org. It has a flying puppy that follows your cursor around!
