    Heh. So often, I remember conversations about how corporations (which are basically substrates to run the code that implements the algorithm of capitalism) were going to act exactly like computer software to try to bring about the singularity.

    Seeing a corporation execute something like this in order to build more data centers in order to support LLMs is not even the least bit surprising. It’s pretty much expected.

    If people feel like corporations, the algorithms they use, and LLMs (“AI”) don’t necessarily have human interests first, their feelings are not exactly misplaced.
