Developers at Meta use a number of tools in their workflows, many of which are open source so you can try them yourself.

    Of interest to me is the fact that both Google and Facebook, which are structured around a large monorepo, dropped git in favour of mercurial (of which sapling is a fork in the instance of facebook).

    Businesses operating large repos should really consider giving mercurial a renewed look IMO.
